With a contract out on his life, it was quite shocking to read the actual descriptors related to the countless times that Ron, a small time sheriff in the state of Tennessee, managed to escape with his life intact. Even in situations whereby he was absolutely terrified, which you will shudder at knowing, he was down right adamant that justice would prevail. Willing to put his life on the line, I simply had to keep reading. In truth, it is my belief that a higher power intervened so that he could tell his story, courtesy of Stan. As a result of this book, their first collaboration, Stan St.Clair and Ron Cunningham have proven that they are a remarkable team.

Some of the characters in this book and scary but somehow Ron kept his head when all around him were losing theirs. I found this book an easy read with quick twist that make it hard to put down.
