The eldest son of missionary parents, Kent spent much of his early life in the
service of the ministry. This early life allowed him to witness and experience
the human condition in ways not known by many.
These experiences profoundly influenced his life and shaped most of his philosophies on life.
His experiences can definitely be felt in his writing.
Being a lover of the written,
especially printed, word, Kent serves as the Librarian and Archivist of the Floyd Crosslin
Memorial Masonic Library and Museum in Manchester, Tennessee. Never considering himself a
writer, Kent has been published in the Journal of the Academy of Science and has poems and
articles published in other printed and electronic publications under the name Kent Grey.
Kent was initially educated in design for manufacturing and attained additional professional
certifications relative to his professional work as a prototype designer for the food service
industry. He returned to college in 1989 and received his degree in the Elements of Design,
graduating with honors. Kent was named an Honor Scholar of the International Honors Institute
in 1991 at The College of the Holy Cross in Worchester, Massachusetts. He was published in
Who's Who of American College Students and was an Academic All American and Goldwater
Scholarship nominee.
After completing an apprenticeship in commercial printing he and his wife went on to own a
printing company and graphic design studio. Kent currently works as a graphic designer and
consultant. In 2009, Kent received the designation of Masonic Lecturer and obtained his
Certificate of Proficiency in adaptive Masonic Ritual from the Grand Lodge of Tennessee. He
now serves as Master of Highland Lodge #214 F&AM in Manchester, TN.

This true story of a home missionary family in the rural southern US is truly remarkable.

what others felt was impossible. Starting their work in Arkansas in the 1970’s, and later
moving to Middle Tennessee to pioneer a new church, their adventures showed the amazing
strength of faith and endurance in both adversity and triumph.

Coming Soon - Crusaders and Heretics - Templars, Freemasons and the Church
Book Synopsis:
Crusaders and Heretics - Templars, Freemasons and the Church,
is not intended as a definitive history or study of the age-long battle between these
powerful entities, but rather as an acknowledgement of the one’s will against
the others. The fear, treachery and secret agendas employed in this war over
the centuries leaves us with no choice but to wonder..."Who actually gazes
through the All Seeing Eye?"
I will be discussing the supposed, traditional and historical origins of
Freemasonry and its connection to the Knights Templar and will include the
Hospitallers (basically a difference in respective view s of the St.’s John) and
their demise and hidden pardon from the Church. I will also include how the
Catholic Order, Knights of Columbus, and their ritual is directly mirrored from
those of Freemasonry.
I intend to explore the evolution of masonry from the ancient guilds of operative
masons to the current form of Speculative, or 'Free', Masonry. This will include
documentation of the Church’s stance (historic and current) on the Order and
the Order’s stance on religion. I am not limiting my exploration to just the
Catholic Church’s view, but also many other denominational churches
(including the one I was raised following). However, I have no desire or
intention to entertain, nor explore the Brownian theories of the Illuminati or
Rosicrucians.
My main goal is to dispel as many prejudices as possible concerning the "outer
court" of Freemasonry as this is the publicly known Order. I am not a
conspiracy theorist, nor violator of my oaths, so I have no intention of presenting
anything more than the average person would need to know to understand
what Freemasonry is and is not.

The Ideology Theorem
Book Synopsis:
Knowing that a theorem is a proposition, not self sufficient, but logically derived from
other proven or perceived true propositions, and that ideology is an organized group of
concepts, theories and assertions, whether proven or not, typically at the core of a
sociological system.
Proposition:
It is my position that most belief systems are the result of the application of this
concept - the Ideology Theorem. I believe that by application of the process of supporting
perceived truths with other accepted truths (whether proven or not) it is possible to prove
or disprove any presented proposition of truth. It is my contention that most of what has
become the belief systems currently in place in religion, society and other social and
cultural systems is the result of the application of this process.
A classic example is Christianity in all its denominational forms. The proposition of the
belief in the Deity of Christ and the Divine nature of His teachings are the founding
premises of the Religion. However, with the unknown actual immensity of Christian
denominations in the U.S. alone one remains to wonder how the simple teachings of Christ
evolved into so many schisms. Simple, by each taking his or her own set of accepted truths,
to support the principal proposition.
A truth is only true if perceived as such. Perception is an individual concept, but when that one
individual element is combined with other supporting ’truths’ the organized concepts then form the
ideology. Following this line of logic it is easy to understand how so many sprang from a single
proposition.
In opposition, the same principles can apply to disprove any established belief system. In the course of
the logical expansion, at least one of the supporting accepted truths will prove less established. This
provides the weak link in the chain of the ideology’s logic. Replace this link with another accepted truth,
or even a wholly new proposition, and the entirety of the ideology becomes affected. If replaced by a
new proposition, then the chain of logic grows and branches further allowing for deeper modification of
the ideology presenting a mutation of the core proposition. Hence, we have the formation of an entirely
new Ideology that results in the effective dissolution of the original.
