Genevieve Abalos

Genevieve Abalos is a forty three year old mother of four young adults. She was born in Atlanta , Ga. and moved to Ohio as a teenager. Genevieve has an associate’s degree in Social Work. She is presently a full time student finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She has been a home health aid for four years. Most importantly, she is a Jesus follower.

Her passion is to empower women to escape abusive situations, and bring hope to those around her.

Her writing style is down to earth. Each book will relate to several realistic situations that women encounter. The book to introduce her as an author is called Inside My Head. It deals with a woman who has attended church for years without allowing God to change her. Her decision to start a Bible study leads to several events that God uses to impact her life.

No one can truly know someone without getting inside their head and hearing their thoughts. On the outside some people appear to be kind and godly, knowing how to say and do the right things, while on the inside they reek with jealousy, fear, hate, anger and unforgiveness. Constance is known to others as the ’nice lady’ they go to church with, while all the while she has lived a secret life inside her head. This book will take the reader into her thoughts and allow them to see for themselves what God can do when we let Him.
